Start Making Those Christmas Cards

September 15, 2016

Okay, it's time to get serious about getting my Christmas cards made up.  I haven't bought Christmas cards in  a couple of years.  This card is made using my stash and the poinsetta is from Heartfelt Creations.  I made this card a while ago, so sorry I don't remember what else I used.

Fall Birthday Card

September 13, 2016

Here's a beautiful Fall Birthday Card I made for my niece.  Her birthday falls around Halloween, so I think the color combination I used fits right in.  This is another simple card that takes no time at all to make, but looks like you spent hours on it.  The most time-consuming part was putting the pearls on all the little swirls.  The shape was die cut with Spellbinders Vintage Labels from Our Daily Bread.  The cardstock is from Papertry Inks' sample pack.

That's it for today, another birthday card scratched off my "To-Do" list.

When Two Become One

September 9, 2016

Here's another Wedding Anniversary card.  This one looks like it took a lot of time but it's actually quite simple and easy.  Just die cut the pieces and glue together.  The stamp is from my stash, sorry I don't remember where I got it .  The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink, and the flowers and leaves are from my stash.  This could easily be turned into a wedding card or engagement card, just change up the sentiment inside.

Purple Diva

August 31, 2016

I bought this image from one of the vendors at the Stamp & Scrap Expo in Somerset, NJ this month.  I stamped her in Memento Ink's Tuxedo Black and colored her in with my copics.  I die cut this image out with my Spellbinders Vintage Labels from Our Daily Bread, and used Seedless Preserves distress ink around her.  The design paper is from my stash and the cardstock is Eggplant from Gina K.  The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink and the lavender pearls are from my stash.

This birthday card will be going to someone on my birthday list.  I'm sure whoever gets it will love it.

That's it for now.

Overcome the Notion

August 29, 2016

Here are 2 simple birthday cards I made.  The stamp is from Gina K.  It's my favorite go-to stamp when I want to send a birthday card to women I know who are really into fashion.  The design paper and sentiment are also from Gina K.  The stamp was die cut with Spellbinders oval and scalloped ovals.  I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink in Broken China around the image which was stamped in Gina K black stamp ink.  I absolutely love how they came out.  Hope you enjoy!

Til next time, keep

Happy Father's Day

July 19, 2016

Here's a  Father's Day card I made.  My dad passed away several years ago, so I made cards for my brother-in-law, my niece's husband, and my daughter's birth-dad.

Happy Birthday

June 8, 2016

Here's a birthday card I made.  I really have to use up my stash.  The flower was made using Heartfelt Creations flower die.  I love how this card came out. I have several birthdays coming up in my family.
