Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

October 30, 2015

This is definitely a Holiday themed card.  Rudolph is die cut on tan suede paper and the snowflakes are cut on pearl white pearlized design paper. I searched through my hoard and found the little wobbly eyes which was perfect for Rudolph. A white pearl colored red with my copic market gives him his red nose.  Love this card.

Another Christmas card. This is using Papertry Ink card stock embossing the white card stock with snowflake embossing folder by Cuttlebugs. The candy cane is cut from Paper Wishes.  This is another simple card that I think I could mass produce.

Winter Greetings

October 26, 2015

The Holidays will be here before you know it.  I'm trying to get my stash up.  Doing a couple of samples before I mass produce.  This is a single layer card.  The card base is from Papertry Ink and the scenery is using Dazzles collection from Paper Wishes. I've had these for a couple of years and never used it so I'm trying to use them up.  I embossed the front of the card with Cuttlebugs dots embossing folder. I really like how it turned out.

Birthday Blessings

October 24, 2015

Here's a card I made using Hearfelt Creations new release, Italiana Riveriera collection. The only thing not from this collection is the card base which is from Papertry Ink, the flowers and the pearls which are from my stash.  Plan on seeing more cards from this collection as I bit the bullet and ordered the entire collection.

Another birthday card.  Again, the card base is Papertrey Ink, the background design paper is from my stash and cut from Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight and the ballerina is die cut and matted with Spellbinders oval die.   I used Stickles on her head piece.   This was another image I had colored a while ago and am now finally using it on a card.  I hope the one it's intended for likes it.   I'm sure she will.

Happy Anniversary

October 14, 2015

Just taking a break and made this anniversary card.  The cardstock used for this card is from Papertrey Ink.  The design paper is from my stash.  The flower is stamped and cut from Heartfelt Creations Arianna Brooms, the leaves were cut from Paper Wishes design paper with Heartfelt Creations.

This is a nice, simple card that could just as easily been a wedding card, just change the sentiment.

Happy Birthday Top Hat Boy

September 25, 2015

Here's a card I made from my stash of scrap papers.  The stamp is a Magnolia stamp and he's colored in with my copic markers.  Sorry I don't have the colors I used, but I colored this image a while ago and am just now using it on a card.  I don't have many masculine cards so I'm attempting to get some made up.  I think it came out pretty good.

In Sympathy

September 23, 2015

Here's another sympathy card I made.  I was playing around with the Heartfelt Creations flower stamps and dies.  The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink which I used for the card base.  The white card stock was embossed with my cuttlebug die and cut out with Spellbinders car creator AS Filigree Delight, the flowers were die cut from Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms and colored in with comic markers

Heartfelt creations is my new favorite company.  I love their flowers and wish I could get all of their dies.  Right now I only have this one and the Classic Sunflower (which I used on the previous blog for my sister's birthday card).

With Sympathy

August 23, 2015

Here's a sympathy card I made.  You always hope you never need it but it's good to have just in case. I would rather have it and never need it than need it and not have it.

I used Papertrey Ink's Perfect Match card stock in Sweet Blush for the base and Raspberry Fizz along with some scraps from my stash.  For the die cuts, I used Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4, Labels 4, Labels 10 and Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage.  I used Heartfelt Creations Ariana Blooms stamp and die for the flowers.  I embossed the matted background with mini dots embossing folder and mini pearls and ribbon from my stash.  The inside sentiment is also from Heartfelt Creations.

I like how this card came out.  It's simple but elegant.

Happy BirthdayTiffanie

June 29, 2015

Here's a card I made for my niece.  I wanted to try my hand at a Clean And Simple card, but I wanted it to look elegant and classy because that's how my niece is.  I also wanted the card to be red white and blue since her birthday is around the 4th of July.

The card base is from Gina K, the white layering card stock is from Michael's Craft Store and  the flowers and sentiment was die cut out of holographic design paper from Paper Wishes.  I loved how this card turned out so much, I made it in blue, hot pink, and purple.

That's it for now.  Be back soon.  Keep Scrappin2Heaven!

Deepest Sympathy

April 8, 2015

I realized I'm low on sympathy cards, so I played around with this floral die that I got from PaperWishes.  I cut it and layered it on vellum paper and colored the flowers and leaves with Copic markers.  Then I cut out 2 butterflies and layered it on top.  I love how this came out.

This design can also be used for a mother's day card.  Maybe in a pink or yellow would be nice.  Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

April 7, 2015

I know it's early but I wanted to get a head start on Mother's Day cards.  I also wanted an excuse to play around with Heartfelt Creations' flower stamps and dies.  The leaf die is fromPaper Wishes.  Also used were Spellbinder dies and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread.  The design paper is from my stash.  I absolutely love this card.  I wish my family enjoyed card making as much as I do to make one like this for me.

I made this card for my sister and her husband. The card base is layered with my paper stash.  The die cut is used is from Spellbinders Fleur de Elegance used on black glitter paper I got fro Paper Wishes.  The Sentiment is from Just Rite and the flower stamp I don't recall where I got it from.  I think they are going to like it and I hope they remember I used their color theme from the wedding-- black and white.

The stamp and sentiment is from Gina K and colored in with copics.  It's layered with design papers from my stash.  I used the Spellbinder Our Daily Bread custom design template.   I forgot the name of the die but you can find it on their website.

Christmas in April

April 9, 2015

I'm trying to get a head start in Christmas cards.  Here's my first set for the year. 100% Boy!

March 25, 2015

Here's a card I made for my nephew, Jeffrey.   His birthday is next month and he'll be turning 18.  I am so proud of him.  He's grown into a handsome young man and has never given his mother any problems.   She should be proud of a job well done-- and she is.

The stamp is "Toby" from Jule Nutting and is colored with my Copic markers.  I then cut him out and placed him on card stock by Papertrey Ink.  The embellishment is from my stash.

I like how this came out considering male cards are not my strong point, especially since there are more females in my family than males .

Anyway, until next time, remember to keep Scrappin2Heaven.

Teachers Are Special

March 23, 2015

Teachers Are Special!

This card is for my niece who is a 2nd grade teacher in the NYC Public School system.  I made this card for her to encourage her in a job that must be stressful.  The cardstock s from Papertrey Ink, the design paper are from my stash.  The die cut is from Spellbinders Majestic Elements and stamp I got from The Ink Pad in NYC several years ago.

I really like how this came out, since I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted or was doing when I started this card.  It sort of just came together.

Have a great day everyone and remember to keep Scrappin2Heaven.

Continuing Christmas Cards

December 3, 2014

Another Christmas card I made.  All my cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and Gina K.  I don't remember where I got the design paper from.  I want to say Paper Wishes, but I really don't remember.  I have to keep a better inventory of my stamps, who made them and where I got them from.  That's one of the things I hope to do while I'm off from work for Christmas.

Hope you like the card and remember to keep Scrappin2Heaven!

February Birthday

January 2, 2015

Here's a card I made for my niece who'll be celebrating her birthday in February.  She doesn't like girlie-girl things.  So I hope this is more to her liking.  She wouldn't have liked the cards I posted earlier.  I hope she likes this one..  It's made also using scraps and Gina K stamp, colored with my copics and die cut with spellbinder die cuts.

Enjoy and remember to keep scrappin2heaven.

Coffee Break

January 1, 2015

I had these Dazzles from Paper Wishes and I haven't been using them up like I should.  I joined their monthly club and I get a set of Dazzles and papers and it just been accumulating.  So I challenged myself to make a masculine card.  Don't know if I succeeded, but I do like the card.  This would make a great present with a gift card from Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks.  The cardbase is from Gina K and everything else is from Paper Wishes.

Scrappy Dee!
