I'm trying to get a head start in Christmas cards. Here's my first set for the year. The card base is from Papertray Ink as is the ribbon. The design paper is from my stash. I like how it turned out. I will definitely do some more in this design format. I think I'll do it in red this time..

100% Boy!
March 25, 2015
Here's a card I made for my nephew, Jeffrey. His birthday is next month and he'll be turning 18. I am so proud of him. He's grown into a handsome young man and has never given his mother any problems. She should be proud of a job well done-- and she is.
The stamp is "Toby" from Jule Nutting and is colored with my Copic markers. I then cut him out and placed him on card stock by Papertrey Ink. The embellishment is from my stash.
I like how this came out considering male cards are not my strong point, especially since there are more females in my family than males .
Anyway, until next time, remember to keep Scrappin2Heaven.

Teachers Are Special

Teachers Are Special!
This card is for my niece who is a 2nd grade teacher in the NYC Public School system. I made this card for her to encourage her in a job that must be stressful. The cardstock s from Papertrey Ink, the design paper are from my stash. The die cut is from Spellbinders Majestic Elements and stamp I got from The Ink Pad in NYC several years ago.
I really like how this came out, since I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted or was doing when I started this card. It sort of just came together.
Have a great day everyone and remember to keep Scrappin2Heaven.
